There were once five watermills along this stream, but Niervèze watermill is the only one that has survived. It’s a beautiful spot to come for a walk.
The watermill dates back to the 18th century and it was renovated from 2000 to 2005. Like the bread oven in the hamlet, it is covered in phonolite stone slabs. It can be seen working every Thursday and Sunday afternoon throughout July and August. Groups can also book visits.
