Description

A small village with undeniable charm. You'll be amazed by the number of castles and manor houses that can be seen all around the commune, the most famous of which is Château de Pesteils, which proudly dominates the village.

This Carladès commune is rich in castles and manor houses to admire or visit. The village grew up at the foot of the escarpments on the northern slopes of the Cère valley, above floodplain meadows and on either side of the Costes stream. It supplied the hydraulic power needed by the village's mills.
